Your data is treated like it's our own.

Kynetic handles sensitive business data — voice recordings, customer enquiries, quotes. Here's exactly how we protect it.

Pillars

How we keep your data safe

Encrypted

Encrypted everywhere

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and at rest using AES-256. Voice recordings and quote data are never stored unencrypted.

Access

Least-privilege access

Kynetic staff access to production data is restricted, logged, and audited. No employee can access your voice recordings or customer data without a logged business reason.

Infrastructure

Hosted on trusted infrastructure

Our platform runs on enterprise cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 certified providers. We do not run our own physical servers.

AI

AI processing safeguards

Voice recordings sent for transcription and AI processing are handled by providers under strict data processing agreements. Data is not used to train third-party models without your consent.

Uptime

Built for uptime

We target 99.9% uptime. Our infrastructure is monitored 24/7 with automated alerts and failover. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance.

Reviews

Regular security reviews

We conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments. Critical patches are applied promptly.

Breach response

What happens if something goes wrong

If we detect a data breach that affects your information, we will:

  • Contain and investigate as quickly as possible.
  • Notify affected customers within 72 hours of confirming a breach, consistent with our obligations under the Australian Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
  • Report to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and/or the NZ Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required by law.
  • Provide clear information about what happened, what data was involved, and what steps you should take.

Your part

How you can help

  • Use a strong, unique password for your Kynetic account.
  • Enable two-factor authentication (available in account settings).
  • Log out of shared devices.
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access: security@kynetic.agency

Disclosure

Found a vulnerability?

If you discover a security issue in our platform, please report it responsibly to security@kynetic.agency. We will acknowledge your report within 48 hours and keep you updated. We ask that you do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities until we have had a reasonable opportunity to fix them.

We do not currently offer a formal bug bounty programme, but we genuinely appreciate responsible disclosure.
